General Terms
- I reserve the right to decline a commission at any time.- I reserve the right to cancel and refund the money for your commission at any time.- 50% or the full amount must be paid up front through the payment options given, I will not begin a commission without it— feel free to ask questions and clarifications during our agreement.- For commercial commissions, the client is obligated to sign a contract with the artist along with the payment before I start with the work.- Final product is strictly “For Personal Use” only.- The client must credit or link back to me when they post their commission online.- I hold the rights over my commissions, meaning, I may post it on my social media and include it in my portfolio.- You are solely responsible for securing the proper rights for the characters you want the commission to feature.- The complexity of the work may affect the final price.- My usual canvas settings are: 300 DPI — 8.5 x 8.5 inches (square), 8.5 x 11 inches (portrait), 11 x 8.5 iches (landscape) depending on how I see fit. If you have a particular request on the canvas size and orientation, please tell me immediately on or before I pass the rough sketch.
Commission Process
- Please provide references; I can work with descriptions too. You’re definitely welcome to give me a mood board as well— it helps me get a clearer view on what you want the end product to look like!If I’m required to design a character or a setting from scratch, a design fee will be charged.- A rough sketch will be shown for approval to move forward to the commission. WIPs (Work in Progress) will be shown to the client. In this stage, the client must immediately state if there should be changes done.I usually give the rough sketch within 1-3 days after the payment.*Feel free to check the here for your commission progress, I often only show the WIP if there’s a significant progress but feel free to message me for updates as well.- Please respond clearly and timely when asked for feedback.- Time for commission may take 1 week at minimum to 2-3 weeks at most depending on the following circumstances: Health, Order of Commission, Complexity, Work, or Family Issues. If any of the things stated above occurs, you will be notified.
*Please be reminded that I have a day job as well, and I’m trying my best to pass your commission in a timely manner.- The client will only be entitled to 1 revision. Revision during WIP is allowed only twice, minor revisions only. Should the client wish to get more than the allowed number of revision, they must additionally pay 25% of the price of the commission.
Usage Policy
- You are allowed to alter my purchased art in the following ways:
> Cropping: for avatar, icon use. (With proper credit, e.g: Icon by @alazznei)
> Print it for yourself and display it in any way you wish to.
> Scope for personal use is wide, as long as it will not interfere with the clarity of who the
artist is and as long as it is not used to gain profit in any way is okay.- You are NOT ALLOWED to do the following:
> Use the commissioned art as means to gain profit in any way.
> Recolor.
> Paint over.
> Trace.- I will only grant refunds if I have not started the commission within 1 week.- By availing a commission from me, you get:
> A rough sketch for approval
> Full Resolution Image
> Full Resolution image with my watermark.
